Letter to Yasomatinandana — Vrindaban 28 November, 1976

Our mission is to protect our devotees from unnecessary heavy work to save time for advancing in Krsna consciousness. This is our mission. So there is no question of profit, but if easily there are surplus products, then we can think of trading. Otherwise we have no such intention. We want a temple, a gosala and agriculture. A community project, as in Europe and America.

ISKCON Vrindavan BLISS is dedicated to promote self-sufficiency locally as well as globally. We promotes already existing projects such as various farm communities all over the world and is developing new projects towards achieving self-sufficiency with three areas of interest:

1) NETWORKING – To create a common platform for the devotees to come together & share & learn different aspects of self sustainable vaisanava communities.

2) SERVICE – Service to local ISKCON Communities – By educating them about the importance of cow, cow products & cow based farming & encouraging them to go to land & live there peacefully by depending on Lord Krishna, Mother Nature & cow.

3) RESEARCH – Research on developing Self Sustainable vaisanava communities & establishing Varnashram College to provide opportunities to future self sustainable devotees to learn & practice various traditional occupational skills.
